Today, we picked up my middle son, Kenji, in Long Beach and headed to Fountain Valley where we met up with relatives from my dad’s side of the family. We met up at Stonefire Grill since there was plenty of room for us to spread out and the food was served family style. The pesto pizza and the tri-tip were the real stand outs as far as food goes.
We got to meet the newest addition to the family courtesy of Erin and Austyn. Erin’s parents, Ken and. Celia, are in the photo above. My other cousin, Helene, brought her whole family to the meetup. Helene and Jeff are on the left in the first picture. Most of their family is in the third picture. We had seen most of this group at the family reunion in Vancouver, B.C., last summer. It was great to see everyone again and Kenji seems to be doing just fine after his move to California last January.
