Day 79 - Disney Dining Day

Wednesday (79) - I’ve messed up on my day counting as TimeandDate.com says today is day 79. So now I get to renumber the last couple of months of posts. Anyway, after raining for most of the night, it’s now clear and cold. At least cold for Florida at 48°F last night.

It’s only 55°F now at 11am as we head for our lunch reservation at the Animal Kingdom - Kidani Village. Our table looks out over the savannah which has animals wandering through during lunch. The cooler temperature probably made the animals more active.

The highlight of the meal had to be the Indian-style bread service. A variety of naan and nine different accompaniments.

After the bread, the salad sampler and somosas were probably not needed but they were delicious.

Later
 - One of the other places I wanted to try was Ohana at the Polynesian Village. I guess I’ve been watching too many Disney Food Blog episodes on YouTube. The picture is the Grand Floridian from the Polynesian Village Resort beach. It’s only 55°F @8:30pm as we have a late dinner reservation. We can’t even check in for another 15 minutes. By making a reservation, we are allowed into the parking lot. This place is huge with multiple restaurants, lounges, and swimming pools. Lots of activities.

No food pics from Ohana but here are the leftovers …
