This post is part of the blogger challenge titled BBBC. Today's topic is:
4. Misused and/or mispronounced word or words that make you CRAZY.
Crazy is kind of a extreme emotion and I can't think of any mispronounced word or phrase used by anyone that would be so bothersome that I'd give it much thought at all. If I can figure out their intent, that's probably good enough for me. I can think of some derogatory or racial slurs that bother me but they are not in the misused or mispronounced category.
And now for my last PBC video, #53.

You must be one very laid-back man. :-)
ReplyDeleteI like to think so but you'll have to ask Bridget...
DeleteA good conversation starter. 😄
ReplyDeleteHmmm, better to jump in with "hows the weather?"...
DeleteThe use of the word "break" when you're talking about brakes annoys me....
ReplyDeleteI've occasionally wonder if some even recognize that they're using the wrong version of the word. Especially if it's used more than once in a post. Does it simply annoy you or "makes you crazy"?
DeleteMostly annoys, crazy would be hunting the person down and forcing them to correct all prior postings
DeletePerhaps. But it's always more fun to be slightly unpredictable, in a nice sort of way.
