Still near Hondo

Friday - A little cooler today, but still very muggy. I walked two miles around the park (twice), and I'm soaked. But I need to get some more walking in, as we will be doing a lot of walking about a week from today. Yesterday, I put the Class C back in storage after Bridget lent it out to another member while they were waiting for a repair. They had to replace their entire mini-split system after it stopped working. I think it was only five years old, but A/C units get worked pretty hard around here. Today's high is only forecast to be 82°F. Much better than the mid-to-upper 90s that it has been ever since we arrived back.

I need to order a couple of tubes for the Ural. The tube I found is already flat, and the spare mounted on the sidecar is down 6 psi after only 4 days. It’s hard to find small leaks without a large tub of water.

Saturday - I just happened to get up in time for the early test session, and while I was making coffee, I ended up getting signed up to lead the session. The candidate was on PDT, and I thought that maybe he had signed up for this time slot by accident. But he did call me back in time for the test, and it wasn't an accident. He passed easily. Time to get on with my day…

I started out with a two-mile walk around the park. I figured I needed to take advantage of the 72°F morning. Though it is still humid.

I was the lead for the midday test session as well.

I have been spending some time getting ready for our trib, which begins next week. We are trying to do only carry-on luggage, and that really limits what I'm willing to bring. Just a small-ish roller bag and a backpack. Plus, Bridget picked up some cross-body bags for essentials.
