Sundance, WY to Wall, SD

Wednesday - Today is our last day at this RV park. Nice and relaxing, and I'd stay here again. There isn't much in town, and the small grocery store is fine. Unfortunately, the season must be over since they drained the pool yesterday. They said that the propane heater was running almost continuously every night, and the forecasted lows for the end of the week are somewhere in the low 40s (°F). Tomorrow we head for Wall, SD, or more specifically, the Nomad View boondocking area just to the south.

Thursday - A windy travel day. Fortunately, it was only about 130 miles or so. We are now in a very well-known boondocking location near Badlands Natl' Park called Nomad's View. It is very windy today with gusts up to 50mph, so we situated ourselves with the front of the RV facing into the wind. But we are still getting rocked by the gusts. It's supposed to die off later today.

We have excellent Starlink service even with the dish inside the RV. If I put it outside, it will likely blow away! I participated in the afternoon test session and I guess Zoom does a pretty good job of filtering out background noise as others in the session couldn't hear the wind noise. This is the view over the “edge”.

Bridget took the pictures. A beautiful sunset!
