Sault Sainte Marie

Friday - We drove up to Sault Sainte Marie to have breakfast with RV friends Kevin and Charla at a crepe and coffee place. It was right across the street from the Soo Lock visitor center. An iron ore freighter was leaving the lock into Lake Huron when we arrived. 

Another freighter had just arrived from Lake Superior and was in the process of being lowered. 

Saturday - A reasonably quiet day at the RV campground. Since it’s Saturday, it’s quite crowded with a lot of kids running around.  But it is occasionally raining.
