Base Camp

I reached the base camp in the virtual climb of Mt. Everest. Not to bad considering I'm not going out of my way to walk everywhere like I've been known to do. I've mentioned in another post that climbing Everest was never on my list of "things to do". That sort of implies that such a list exists. It doesn't so maybe I should start one during one of my walks. I tend to think and reflect on life while walking. This "time to think" is one of the joys of walking. N.B. I didn't say running. While running, all I can think of is how much longer before stopping. What's on your list?

  1. That's why I love walking so much! I love just getting lost in my thoughts. It allows me to think about those sorts of things I want to do. I just recently made up my list of fitness goals for the summer. I also think about the things that I want to accomplish in the next year, next five years, next ten years. One big thing I recently decided was that in the next 10 years, I really want to focus on getting my pilot's license.
