Saturday - An even shorter travel day to the North American Bison Discovery Center previously known as the National Buffalo Museum in Jamestown, ND. It is also a Harvest Host site though their parking lot is far from level.
It was a relatively small museum and described the slaughter of the herds by American “tourists” and the slow process of building the population back.
They have a large sculpture of a bison visible from the highway for taking selfies. All in all, not a lot here but it’s good for an overnight stop on our way to Theodore Roosevelt Natl’ Park.
