One More Day!

Only one more day before leaving on my road trip. I modified my itinerary slightly to go through Corvallis but it is only a guideline. It just sort of depends on how things go. The SPOT map on the right under the heading "Where Am I?" should show my current location. I plan to continue posting throughout the trip but it is dependent on the availability of Internet access along the way.

  11. Dude, I am closing in on the last 300 miles of a 2500 mile ramble over five days through the Smoky Mountains and Blue Ridge on my GPS-free Bonneville, where most of the time I had no phone and no idea where I was. It would have driven you mad I think judging by your somewhat anal itinerary.
Say hullo to Santa Cruz for me and defy the grumpy servers at Marianne's for a pistachio cone. 20 years in that town and I never could get them to be vaguely personable though the ice cream rocked.

  12. Looks like you are further than planned! Kluane Lake. How many miles did you travel today? If you can read this, take a picture of the Lake and your campsite, please. How about every place you stop?
