As you can tell from the picture, I'm not on the Ural today and won't be for a several weeks. This is Denali from the window. A bit cloudy though the mountain and the peak is visible. Today is a day of sitting in airports. Three hours in Fairbanks, 11 hours in Anchorage. But not complaining since I'm on a really bargain priced ticket and got a free upgrade to first class! This will be important on the next flight from Anchorage to Los Angeles.
I don't anticipate going through riding withdrawal as I think I have enough snow riding to last me for a while. On most days, I recorded multiple PBC videos with emphasis on recording in colder temperatures. These will trickle out on YouTube while I am on vacation meeting the PBC rules of only one video submission per day.
Here is the next PBC video submission. Just the short ride home from the university. And, yes, I still end up going there once and awhile.

Enjoy your vacation. You are probably already soaking up the sunshine by now.
ReplyDeleteIf you're retired, how does one take a vacation?
Deleteseveral weeks without the Ural?
ReplyDeleteYep, almost three weeks. I may forget how to ride…
DeleteAh... L.A.
ReplyDeleteNot a bad place to spend a couple weeks when it's consistently minus X degrees Fahrenheit back home.
You could rent a bike and practice lane splitting.
Too much traffic here imho. The last time I was at LAX was probably 35+ years ago.
