Out and about early (for me!) this morning. I was on the road to the golf course parking lot to start another video. The cold spell appears to be over and it had warmed up to -4°F so I just zipped up and down the road to put on a a few miles before pulling into the church parking lot and ending the video. After all, short runs aren't good for any engine. After just a short ride of 19 km, the CHT gauge was indicating around 400°F which sounds like warmed up enough. This picture was taken a couple of hours later but it's still well before sunrise. Only eight more days until the sun starts to rise earlier.
Here are the next two videos. Just for reference, these were recorded on December 6th and I still have twelve more videos waiting in the queue.
Unfortunately, we still have January and February to go through first. The sun is low enough on the horizon that it doesn't really have any impact on the temperature.
Nice sunrise pic, no way to get further back from the rig, and shoot at ground level to silhouette the rig against the rising sunlight?
