Thursday - I’m feeling a whole lot better. Not quite normal (assuming I ever was “normal”) maybe 70%? Even though I raked all the leaves last Sunday, there was almost as many today. Though using a tarp with the sidecar is a more efficient way to haul them out to the field for dumping than leaf bags.
Most of the leaves have fallen so it’s not as bad as last year. The tree trimming really made a difference. There is a bit of a breeze today which makes the mid-70°F temperature feel pretty nice.
I still have quite a few things I want to get done. One task was filling the RV tires with air. I had picked up the DeWalt inflator in Tucson. The left display shows the current pressure and the right one shows the target. Then press go and it’ll shut down once the pressure is reached. No babysitting the pump. It does run through batteries pretty quickly. My DeWalt batteries are only 1.2ah & 1.3ah. Good for drills and drivers but I may need to pick up at least one higher capacity battery. The small, portable compressor I’ve been using takes a long time to fill up the RV tires. Especially the front ones which are 115psi.
I had picked up a turkey breast last week (on sale) and today seemed like a good time to start cooking it. Sous vide, of course. But the first step is some caramelization for additional flavor. It’s now vacuum sealed and cooking for 24 hours. Christmas dinner tomorrow…
