Tomorrow, I will be participating in an IPv6 workshop presented by Nysernet. I had taught the old format workshops for I2 many times and wanted to see what the new material was as well as the major changes they made to the hands on labs. Maybe I'll be able to teach this new workshop in the future. This will be a short post and it was really great to see everyone again. I picked up some completely new material and have a lot of new things to try when I return. They announced what the future technical meetings would look like and it will be a significant change from the existing format. I will reserve judgement on whether it is a good idea to change things....

I'm just getting caught up on what you've been up to. It sounded like yesterday was a really long day. I suspect this day was most welcome.

Having a short day today was really welcome. Only a couple of more days before heading home....
DeleteI imagine the quiet walk was just perfect.
ReplyDeleteThere was a couple of outrigger boats paddling up and down the canal and the shade from the tall buildings was welcome.
DeleteThat canal is pretty. Nice to have some quiet time to contemplate and enjoy your surroundings
ReplyDeleteThe canal was nice to walk along. The last time I was here, I took a different walking route to the campus and didn't know that it was even here.
DeleteRichard:
ReplyDeletewe had friends who used to live along that Alawai Canal. We visited and I remember only walking a few blocks to the main beach area. It was a long time ago and that was our first visit to Hawai'i. You are there during the best time of the year, not too hot

That would be a pretty nice place though it's pretty crowded. I met someone local for dinner last night and they picked me up at the hotel. It was there first time in the Waikiki area in over a year.
DeleteToday, it's not to hot or too humid. Pretty nice.
