Day 46 - Morning Coffee

On Friday evening, we had dinner with Trobairitz and Troubadour at Evergreen Indian  Restaurant in Corvallis. Thank you so much for dinner! It was wonderful. After dinner, we wandered along the riverfront looking for geocaches. We found one and one that was missing the log (needs maintenance) and gave up on the one that was in the "homeless encampment".

On Saturday morning, we went to Saturday morning coffee at Coffee Culture on 9th street and met Bob & Lee in addition to Trobairitz & Troubadour.  Bob is the uncomfortable looking one with the helmet on.

After coffee, we went into Salem for reasons unrelated to the Ural. Just to wander around the downtown shopping areas. It was warm but there was a breeze and the stores were mostly air conditioned. Not a bad way to spend the afternoon. Not crowded at all either.

  1. What a great day ... maybe Brad is just squeezing a bit too hard for Bob!

    2. I would also like to extend my thanks. It was fun to finally meet the two of you. Great food, great conversation. BTW-yesterday I was eating my leftovers when I bit into something hotter than I have ever bit into before. My left tonsil burned for hours. I thought it was hilarious and couldn't stop laughing. I'm glad I was daring and ate it even if my palate wasn't used to it. Thanks also for showing us the store. I hope your day was as good as ours.

  4. Great to hear that the hack isn't giving you any reason for concern.

And bonus, you were lucky to meet Brad & Brandy again, plus more moto friends!

    1. No issues at all with the Ural and in some ways it runs much better than before. And it's always a pleasure to meet Brad and Brandy. I think this was the 4th time I've been at Saturday coffee in the last 5 weeks.

  5. I think you or Bridget used the wrong app on your phone. This one added 10 pounds, bahahahaha.

Sure glad we were able to see you a few more times before you leave and to meet Bridget too. It is always enjoyable to get together.
