Green & pink dancing across the sky, it was beautiful, you are pretty lucky if you get to see them regularly. I also turned off auto ISO and manually set it to 3200 and tried exposures at 2", 5", & 10" all at wide open aperture. I tried one shot at ISO 800 and 10" exposure but ended up with nothing. Maybe if it's clear I'll try it again but it was pretty cold at -35°F and windy.RichardMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04773834892715980735noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1512448163402185409.post-83528710128803497562012-01-27T10:30:47.246-09:002012-01-27T10:30:47.246-09:00ya know, that's pretty steady holding you got ...ya know, that's pretty steady holding you got going there with a 5 sec exposure time!

dom

Redleg's Rides

Colorado Motorcycle Travel Examinerredlegsrideshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10927757855921321097noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1512448163402185409.post-50708648495268704132012-01-27T07:04:55.689-09:002012-01-27T07:04:55.689-09:00Richard:

I find that you have to take your camera OFF "auto ISO", set for something around iso:400 and +EC about 1 stop, but then you would need a tripod (or a bean bag)

bob
Riding the Wet CoastAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05258612401956399482noreply@blogger.com
