Day 3 - How to Spend the Afternoon - TT

You can see more of the date palm farm look from this angle. The RV spaces are simply the space between the trees. And the streets are the rows between the trees. Not too much accomplished today. Grocery shopping, laundry, and we wandered over to the RV dealer next door to see what they had in used Class A, diesel pushers. They had several and one that would be a good fit. This demonstrated that what we may be looking for in the future is available at a not unreasonable price.

Then, it was sitting around the pool time. I must admit that I like sitting around the pool especially on days like today.

  1. Class As are nice but too large for the kind of camping I want to continue doing....heck, my 25ft MH is too large sometimes! Not to mention, some limits in length imposed in some state and national parks. Presently, trying to figure out how to afford a larger trailer (half-heartedly) to be able to trailer a Ural rig and the T-Dub. More thinking ahead on that one.

    1. We were thinking larger to have a trailer large enough for both the Ural and a car such as Bridget’s Prius. This dictates a larger tow vehicle such as a diesel pusher. But that makes for a large trailer. I’m really not too concerned about the whole national/state park restrictions as they seem to be full all the time anyway. But this is still in the “thinking about it” stage.
