It works well and you can allocate memory and disk however you want. And with the SSD (solid state drive), the virtual machines run really fast. I.e. cold boot of Windows XP is only about 10 seconds. Booting up the Mac laptop takes about the same amount of time. I'm spoiled by this laptop....RichardMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04773834892715980735noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1512448163402185409.post-45585045407844309712012-10-24T16:05:42.388-08:002012-10-24T16:05:42.388-08:00Richard, I don't own a mac but it's intere...Richard, I don't own a mac but it's interesting to know that there is a way to fool it, as it would be, into acting like it has XP (if I understand your post correctly.)
But the big news is you found the real Thomas!VStar Ladyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13634216576989421497noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1512448163402185409.post-69889704257165805752012-10-24T08:09:50.960-08:002012-10-24T08:09:50.960-08:00"Eclectic", a nice way of saying wierd ;..."Eclectic", a nice way of saying wierd ;-)

The third one down are on the ski trails running next to my building. I am going to try it at home, and if it works then I can explain it to you how picasa inter-relates to Blogger, etc. I managed to do a test post with over 8 photos and I was able to resize each one with that pop up menu

I even uploaded a couple of images directly from my local hard drive after resizing and it also worked and I was able to select Xtra-large each time with that pop up menu in a consistent placement.

I used Firefox here, but I have no reason to think that it wouldn't work at home, perhaps I will try Google Chrome instead.

thank you for all your help and testing. I really appreciate it. My post later tonight will be nothing but photos just for testing, but I may post some new ones you haven't seen before

bob
Riding the Wet Coast
My Flickr // My YouTube
Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05258612401956399482noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1512448163402185409.post-4550599538082830252012-10-23T13:10:42.559-08:002012-10-23T13:10:42.559-08:00I ran (figuratively not literally) into Thomas was...I ran (figuratively not literally) into Thomas was in Michigan at Greenfield Village.
