BBBC 2017 #22

This post is part of ToadMama's Brave, Bold, Blogger Challenge (BBBC) 2017 which is an attempt to make February go by a little more quickly. There are 28 topics, one for each day.

Pick a color then share seven interesting images featuring that color

Carrot colored. We'll see how well I did. I just picked a random color from my photo library and started scanning through the pictures stopping whenever I spotted the color. Not too sure about the "interesting" part of the challenge. Three pics are from AK, three are from the trip to CA on the BMW, one is from the Ural road trip, one is from the Ethiopia trip, one is last fall in PA and two are from Barrow. None are local. I think that Dom may be right in that there isn't anything worth taking a picture of in Fairbanks...

  1. It sure looks like you and Lynne Goebeler compared notes on your color choices for today's challenge--awfully suspicious... ;-)

    1. Naw, I did this post over a week ago… Pure coincidence.

    2. Lol, Richard, I just said the same thing to Ry's comment on my Orange post! But I didn't do this a week ago, I just did it this afternoon. I did use the same method though...picked the color orange, then found a bunch of photos and had to cut back down to seven.

I especially love your heat map photo, super orange!

    3. That was pretty grim riding through central Washington down into Oregon. In Canada, camped everywhere, once across the border it was hotels with A/C.

  2. I can imagine, I hate being that hot, can't imagine camping in it without an RV!

    1. That was miserably hot. I was going through gallons of water per day.

  3. I enjoyed your pics. I commented yesterday but hit the wrong button and the whole dang thing disappeared. The excavator is interesting, is it for gold? Loved the giant chicken.

    1. The Arktos is an amphibious craft primarily designed to haul people. It was being demonstrated to search and rescue.

  4. Great eclectic examples. Carrot probably isn't something that is terribly popular. Have to ask...have you started to see any carrot colors in Fairbanks since you did this?

    1. Everything around here is monotone. Lots of white and grey. Or that's what it feels like.
